Me playing the organ at Mynydd Seion Independant Welsh Congregational Chapel in Ponciau, Rhosllanerchrugog near Wrexham, Denbighshire. I was not able to find a makers nameplate on the organ but the style of the woodwork around the console suggests the builder could have been Alexander Young & Sons of Manchester. The specification reads: PEDAL Bourdon 16' GREAT Open Diapason 8' Stopped Diapason 8' Dulciana 8' Principal 4' Wald Flute 4' Tremulant SWELL Open Diapason 8' Lieblich Gedact 8' Salicional 8' Voix Celeste 8' Gemshorn 4' Hautboy 8' COUPLERS Great to Pedal Swell to Pedal Swell Sub Octave to Great Swell Octave to Great Swell to Great ACCESSORIES 2 composition pedals to Great 2 composition pedals to Swell Being in Wales some Welsh hymn tunes was the order of the day so im playing 'In heavenly love abiding' to the tune 'Penlan' which shows off the main tone colours available on the organ. Many thanks to Gareth Williams for arranging me access to this fine instrument. NOTE:! this is purely my interest in order to make sure that these fine organs are archived forever and I do not make any monetary profit by this video being on youtube.
