NUNS Generations - The Tale of Jiraiya (2 of 2)

NUNS Generations - The Tale of Jiraiya (2 of 2)

Now, I've already explained who Yahiko, Konan, and Pain were in NUNS 2, but I know there are people coming in from this game, so I might as well explain them anyway. That, and I don't think I ever elaborated much on the Hidden Rain Village, whose history ties strongly into this trio. You see, the Hidden Rain Village is a war-torn nation. It's located roughly equidistant from the Hidden Leaf Village, the Hidden Sand Village, and the Hidden Mist Village, and borders all of their respective countries. So when conflict breaks out that involves all three of these, they tend to take the battle to the Hidden Rain Village. This also means many innocent bystanders get killed in these wars, such as the parents of these three kids. Feeling bad for them during one of Jiraiya's trips to the village, he trains them to fight to be able to defend themselves. Jiraiya takes special interest in Nagato, who possesses the Rinnegan, an extremely strong ocular power (more so than the Sharingan) bu! t also very rare. The three learn to fight and develop their powers--except Nagato, who, while a competent fighter in his own regard, is either not confident enough to use his Rinnegan or is unable to use it properly. Nevertheless, by the time Jiraiya has left, Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato have become freedom fighters around the village. Yahiko forms the Akatsuki, a peace-keeping group of ninja. They put a horizontal slash through their headbands to signify that they've rejected the village's leadership ...
