Ronnie is a legend. His graceful fluid style, distinguishing bends and intense vibratos are unsurpassed; he spoke with his guitar and we listened wholeheartedly. This video is an accumulation of photos taken on the night he played at Tower Theatre with additional photos from my personal collection and others obtained via the internet. Although Ronnie did not play "Leaving The Warmth Of The Womb" on this immortalized night the song symbolizes my tribute and mindset knowing that this was the last time I would see Ronnie Montrose. The synergy on the first two Montrose albums is an attribution of four very talented artists. That same synergy is epitomized when the four regrouped in 1997 after twenty-two years, recording "Leaving the Warmth of the Womb" album and a remake of the band's classic, "Rock Candy". If my memory serves me well, I recall them completing both tracks in less than 30 minutes. RIP Ronnie Montrose, your music will live on through time immortal.
